The Nantucket Historical Association has announced their summer Decorative Arts schedule. I will be instructing sailor’s valentine classes the week of August 14-18, 2023.
The first class is Aug. 14-16 which is a 3 day class to complete an 8″ valentine. All materials are provided. The White Shell Garland class will concentrate on creating raised shell work around the border. We will also have time to experiment with wired shell work.
The second class, Nantucket Rose, is Aug. 17. It is a one day class to complete a 6″ valentine. A great time to introduce you to this art form. All materials are provided.
