{"id":466,"date":"2019-11-01T15:28:25","date_gmt":"2019-11-01T15:28:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/seashellvalentines.com\/blog\/?p=466"},"modified":"2019-11-01T15:28:25","modified_gmt":"2019-11-01T15:28:25","slug":"how-to-create-the-perfect-dahlia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/seashellvalentines.com\/blog\/?p=466","title":{"rendered":"How to Create the Perfect Dahlia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>by Anne Stegner<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This flower is made from fish scales, approximately 400 or so.\u00a0 Each fish scale was soaked several days so they were pliable.\u00a0 I cut each one into the shape of the petal and then bent it into the shape I wanted.\u00a0 Next a took some rope and tied each one (while they were wet) and let each scale dry overnight.
