I covered each Styrofoam cake piece in sand and painted the cake with a Martha Stewart high gloss acrylic paint called, &#8216;Wedding Cake&#8217;. Seemed appropriate. I attached a purple ribbon around each layer and then glued small ark shells around the edge of each layer. I took the various colored (shell) pansies I had previously made and attached them to the cake.
